Effective April 1, 2015, the Ministry of Labour now requires that all employers ensure that their workers complete an approved working at heights training program before they can work at heights. This training program will help prepare participants to:
1) Explain their rights and responsibilities when working at heights,
2) Work at heights safely and in compliance with all required regulations, and
3) Select, inspect, and use industry-standard personal fall arrest equipment, including a harness and lanyard.
