This WSIB approved training program provides participants with comprehensive preparation for managing traumatic injuries and medical emergencies in the workplace, at home, or in the community. Participants will learn how to manage an emergency scene, recognize and treat injuries including major bleeding, shock, fractures, and soft-tissue injuries, as well as several medical emergencies including cardiovascular emergencies, seizures, allergic reactions, and many more safely and effectively. Participants will receive hands-on instruction utilizing Automated External Defibrillators (AED), and providing CPR to adult, child, and infant casualties.
